With 22 years design/build construction experience, Jeff joined TMI as a Project Developer specializing in Ohio’s public school sector. Jeff provides our school clients with a great deal of experience in facility management practices and construction consulting.
In 2003, Jeff began his work with public school districts as a District representative during new building construction projects. Over 1 billion dollars in new school construction has been completed since 1997, as a result of the Ohio School Facilities Commission initiative to rebuild Ohio’s schools. The vast majority of these projects were awarded based on a low bid. Jeff understands that a ‘cookie-cutter’ type process and uniform scope of work is not what most Districts really want or need.
Jeff and his team places high value in a thorough discovery of every aspect of a school building’s operation. Whether it is energy management and procurement, creating facility maintenance programs, or developing a sustainable construction project, a successful plan begins with a true understanding of what is reality. “Every building has its own set of issues, history, and operational challenges, we simply spend the upfront time gathering and organizing the information so that the best solution can be developed and informative decisions can be made.”
